Dear Algorithm

Dear algorithm
can I get a word in
I’m trying to say something
to the world
but it keeps getting lost
in the sea of words
by more important people.

This is part of a longer poem which is a work in progress.
I read this as part of my contribution to the Valley Society 2021 Juneteenth commemoration.
