As a tribute to the amazing resilience that so many people continue to show during this really difficult year and in support of the work that Center For New Americans does to support immigrants in Western MA, I am taking part in the 30 Poems In November fundraiser again.
I commit to writing or completing (from previously started drafts) 30 poems, one each day, during the month of November. Here’s my poem for November 1. It’s early, I know, but I thought I’d get a head start so that I can increase the chances of meeting my target.
Last year, my Poetry & Pushups campaign raised $570.00, from a target of $5,000. This year, my target remains the same. How to up the game? How to up the game? I’ll figure it out as I go.
Please visit my fundraising page or share this post to help support the amazing work that Center for New Americans does.
You can also find out more about the Center on their website and see all the other poets taking part here.
Thank you.
